Carrying out "COOL BIZ"

From May 6, Yamaichi Electronics encourages all its employees in Japan to join the government proposed "COOL BIZ" campaign by working without jacket and necktie.
The campaign allows our employees to work comfortably at relaxed air conditioning temperatures thus supporting reductions in electricity consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
On occasion of visiting our company please feel welcome to join us in light dress.

With regard to the Earthquake and Tsunamis attacking Northeastern Japan

This is to inform influence by the earthquake and subsequent tsunamis occurred on March 11 at the Pacific coast of the Northeastern Japan:

1. Employees

No casualties have been reported as to the employees of Yamaichi group companies.

2. Operations

Damage by the earthquake to the production sites of Yamaichi group companies was very limited.

3. Others

Due to the confusion of logistics, both domestic and international, we expect certain influence on shipment of our products. The shortage of electric power and damages to our suppliers may bring considerable impact to our production and delivery in the future.

We, all staff at Yamaichi Electronics Group, sincerely express our sympathy to victims by the earthquake and their families and we hope earliest possible recovery.
